During play when a ball is hit past you, and beyond you, and the next shot ( forehand or backhand ) is clearly yours, without being involved in a ‘ride off’, immediately move laterally until you are directly behind the ball to claim the line.
This prevents experienced opponents claiming fouls against you, from a position behind you.
