For every ‘shot’ you make apply 2 Clocks. First the Pony Clock (PC), with ’12 o’clock’ between pony’s ears and ‘6 o’clock’ over pony’s tail.
Second the Ball Clock (BC) striking ‘6 o’clock’ to hit straight,on both sides of pony, ‘4 o’clock’ to hit offside neck shot and ‘2 o’clock’ to hit nearside open backhand, etc. Hence offside tail backhand requires combination of PC ‘4 o’clock’ and BC ‘2 o’clock’.
