The very first Polo “Dream Team”, with 40-goal handicap, was made of Michael Phipps, Cecil Smith, Tommy Hitchcock Jr., and Stewart Iglehart. We are in 1939, and it is the British team, which is supposed to rivalized against the United-States for the prestigious Westchester International Cup. Unfortunatly, the team wasn’t able to participate to the competition, as Cecil Smith had an accident while training.
