Argentina beats the three times champion Hong Kong and got the title for the first time.
After several failed attempts, Argentina finally won the title that was lacking, on Sunday 22/1 was awarded at the Metropolitan Polo Club located in the city of Tianjin (China), the VI version of the International Snow Polo tournament organized by the International Polo Federation (FIP), after beating a tough Hong Kong by a tight 6-5.
Although the Asians started better, the Argentine team recovered and turned the match, thanks to a great team work in which the three players (Dylan Rossiter, Santiago Cernadas and Francisco Menéndez) looked to win the first Argentine title in the history of this tournament. But the boys had to suffer, because with a few seconds to finish the match, Matías Vial (HK) shot a penalty of 40 yards, luckily for Argentina, his shot was diverted and the trophy is coming to Buenos Aires .
